Edit the new AWP Trailer COMPETITION

‘Cos we’re after a new trailer!
Download the high quality media clips we provide as well the track we’ve cleared and put them together in the most creative trailer you can - let your creativity run wild!
We’ll choose a winner and the lucky editor will be awarded a free night on the town, some choice apparel and an AWP mug. The winning entry will also be unveiled at the AWP launch party early in December - more details about that event soon.

Below are links to the footage we’ve provided (feel free to shoot some of your own). It’s important you only use the cleared music track we’ve provided, otherwise we can’t show your film on this website, and you may be disqualified.
The music is ‘Junk Culture’ from I Am Kloot – the greatest band in the UK and generous chaps for letting us use their track (even if they are southerners to us up here in Sheerport!). Check out IAK here: http://www.iamkloot.com
Guidelines:
- Be as creative as possible
- Don’t use other people’s footage
- Keep the video under 60 seconds
- Use only the cleared music track we have provided
- Don't spare the horses! The competition closes on Tuesday 1st of December at 6pm GMT
To submit your entry, upload the trailer to a video sharing website (like YouTube) and embed* in this thread as a reply or send the URL over to compo@visitsheerport.com Remember to keep the original file too! Alternatively, use a digital delivery service (like YouSendIt) to send the file directly. Please keep the file size under 50MB.
Any issues you may have with compression, software, editing styles etc. can be directed to Simon Quilter, Sheerport’s resident media studies tutor by posting a request on the forum here.
Terms and Conditions:
- The judges decision is final
- By entering your work you give us rights to use your work within the project
- The winning entry will be awarded 2 free cinema tickets, a swanky new AWP T-Shirt and an AWP mug.
